Metlen revenue jumps 21% in 9M 2026: EBITDA target steady at 1 to 1.15 billion euros
An all-time high in turnover, strong momentum across core business segments, and an acceleration of strategic investments compose the picture for METLEN for the nine-month period of 2026.

With a strong footprint across nearly all of its primary business activities and with its development plan progressing in Greece and abroad, METLEN completed the nine-month period of 2026 recording the highest revenue performance in its history for a corresponding period.
Turnover amounted to 6.2 billion euros, marking a 21% increase compared to 5.1 billion euros in the nine-month period of 2025.
This constitutes a performance that assumes particular significance, as it is recorded against a backdrop of increased volatility in international markets and temporary operational challenges in the energy sector.
Despite the pressures, the company maintains its guidance unchanged for EBITDA between 1 and 1.15 billion euros in 2026, confirming its confidence in the capabilities of its diversified business model.
At the same time, the medium-term target for EBITDA of approximately 1.92-2.08 billion euros remains in effect.

Strong growth with multiple revenue streams

The momentum of METLEN is reflected in the performance of its individual business segments.
The Energy sector recorded revenues of 4.95 billion euros, increased by 22%, while the Metals sector strengthened by 6%, reaching 728 million euros.
Even more impressive was the performance of Infrastructure and Concessions, with turnover surging by 50%, to 534 million euros.
This specific picture highlights one of the most critical competitive advantages of METLEN: the diversification of its activities and the ability to simultaneously develop different revenue streams, limiting its dependence on fluctuations within a single sector.
In the Energy sector, the company is strengthening its position in electricity generation, supply, and trading, while simultaneously expanding its portfolio in renewable energy sources and storage.
Of particular significance is the maintenance of the strong presence of Protergia in the Greek market, holding a 21.3% market share in electricity supply and 28.1% in natural gas during the nine-month period.
It is worth noting that the company's largest thermal power generation plant, featuring H-Class technology, returned to full operation on October 12, following the completion of repair works.
This development removes a significant temporary operational constraint, bolstering prospects for the final quarter of the year.

Strategic agreements and energy security

A major element of METLEN's strategy is strengthening security of supply and diversifying natural gas sourcing streams.
Within this framework, the five-year agreement with PETRONAS for the supply of six LNG cargoes annually starting from 2027 reinforces its international commercial footprint.
Additionally, the agreement with Shell, which was signed on November 2, also provides for the supply of six LNG cargoes annually for five years, originating primarily from the company's portfolio in the US.
Through these agreements, METLEN reinforces its commercial flexibility and the capability to access European markets, also capitalizing on the potential of the Vertical Gas Corridor.

Renewables and storage at the center

Concurrently, METLEN is accelerating the expansion of its international portfolio in renewable energy sources and storage systems.
The total RES portfolio stands at 12.1 GW, including projects in operation, under construction, and at various stages of development.
Special weight is assigned to battery energy storage system (BESS) projects, both in Greece and abroad. The connection to the National Transmission System of the 330 MW / 790 MWh project in Thessaly, as well as the completion of the Aenaos project with a capacity of 48 MW / 96 MWh in Chalkidiki, constitute typical examples of the progress being achieved.
At the same time, the sale of the hybrid project Tamarico II in Chile, with an installed capacity of 165 MW and storage capacity of 725 MWh, falls under the capital rotation plan (asset rotation), enabling the company to realize the added value of assets it develops and channel resources into new investment opportunities.

Gallium: A strategic investment with a European dimension

Of particular importance for the long-term strategy of METLEN is the development of gallium production in Greece.
In a period during which Europe seeks to limit its dependence on third countries for the supply of critical raw materials, the company's investment assumes a broader industrial and geopolitical dimension.
The flagship Leader project, which includes a 50% increase in alumina production to 1.3 million tonnes, alongside the creation of a gallium production facility with an annual capacity of 50 tonnes, is progressing according to schedule.
Furthermore, METLEN has already secured two major long-term commercial agreements for the future off-taking of gallium production. This development confirms international market interest in alternative and secure supply sources, enhancing the company's prospects in a sector of strategic significance for European industry and technology.

METKA enhances footprint in infrastructure

Progress is also substantial in the infrastructure and concessions sector, where METKA records a 50% revenue increase in the nine-month period.
The activity is evolving into an integrated infrastructure platform, aimed at unifying construction, concessions, public-private partnerships (PPPs), and facility management.
Progress on projects such as the Flyover in Thessaloniki, the restoration of the Athens-Thessaloniki railway line, the interventions in the area of Skaramagas, and the AENAON Metropolitan Park in Faliro strengthens METKA's position in the domestic market for major projects.
Concurrently, exploring a potential listing of METKA Group on Euronext Athens represents a strategic choice that could support further growth, capital autonomy, and access to new financing capabilities.

Message of consistency and confidence in strategy

Commenting on the performance of the nine-month period, the Executive Chairman of METLEN, Evangelos Mytilineos, emphasized that the company continues to execute its strategy with consistency and determination, leveraging the momentum of its diversified business model and the capabilities of its human capital.
As he noted, priorities remain the disciplined achievement of targets, operational excellence, and the creation of sustainable long-term value.
The message emerging from the nine-month period is clear: METLEN does not limit itself to recording strong financial performance, but continues to invest in expanding its productive and commercial capabilities, in the energy transition, in critical raw materials, and in infrastructure.
With revenues at historic highs, maintenance of the annual EBITDA target, and an extensive investment program underway, the company enters the final quarter of 2026 with a clear growth orientation and the prerequisites to further solidify its position on the international energy and industrial map.
